Refresh Colombo is a community of web and technology enthusiasts / professionals who come together on a monthly basis to share ideas and meet like minded individuals.

Refresh Colombo events are open to the public. We encourage you to bring a friend or two. Hackers, bloggers, coders, geeks & geek lovers, journalists, techies, entrepreneurs and venture capitalists are all welcome – you can even bring your grandma.

Some of the skills that will be covered include:

  • Latest emerging technologies that need guidance by an expert.
  • How-to sessions on using Free and Opensource Software.
  • Tips and techniques used by experts which they gained by experience.

Workshops will be taught by individuals with a track-record of successful projects and in-depth knowledge within their area of expertise. While many workshops will be conducted by local talent, we will also be hosting a series of workshops with international experts who have agreed to donate their time and conduct sessions via the web. Stay tuned for more updates!

To make these events accessible to all, we will do our best to keep them free. In the even that a workshop will require a small fee, this will be noted ahead of time.

The mission of lkgeeks.org is to continue to provide developers with knowledge, information and experience in a way that is free or affordable to all.

lkgeeks.org continues to remain true to it’s roots and is a non-governmental, non-corporate entity – run BY developers FOR developers.
